About
Optimists on-call.
33BONDI started in 2015 in a co-working space near Bondi Beach, and grew up inside our clients’ hardest problems. More than a decade on, we’re a senior, mostly remote engineering team - still anchored to Bondi - who believe the best of technology is ahead, and act like it: by shipping it, and then answering for it in production.

AI
The newest member of the team
Senior engineers only. No bench. The people you meet are the people who build.
Engineering, multiplied
The newest name on the team page isn’t a person.
We treat AI as a member of the team: it drafts code and tests, triages security findings and keeps documentation honest - and everything it ships passes the same senior review as everyone else’s work. AI makes each of our engineers several; that’s why a team our size runs national platforms.
How we run it is an engineering decision. Our delivery runs on a deliberate mix: frontier models where the reasoning has to be deepest, and open-weight models on hardware we own for everything that shouldn’t leave the building. Which model sees which work is decided by the data’s classification, not by convenience - client IP and regulated data infer locally, on our machines. Speed from AI; confidentiality by architecture.
In other people’s words
Google wrote a customer story about us. So did BigCommerce.
“33Bondi’s small team delivers innovative, large-scale client projects” - their words, not ours. Read Google’s story.
In June 2026, BigCommerce published its own case study on the Blooms The Chemist platform we build and run - read their story. They know the work: back in 2020 they named us APAC winner of their Creative Problem Solving Partner Award for the same client’s click-and-collect engineering.
