What this site collects.

Who we are

33BONDI is a technology engineering firm based at Level 18, Westfield Tower One, 520 Oxford St, Bondi Junction NSW 2022, Australia. If you have a question about privacy, or want to know what we hold about you, email hello@33bondi.com.

What this site does not do

This is a static website. It has no accounts, no login, no forms and no shopping cart. We do not ask you for personal information, and there is no server here that receives or stores it. We do not sell, rent or trade information about you, and we do not run advertising or profiling on this site.

Analytics, and your choice

We would like to understand how this site is used - which pages people read, which links they follow, whether a case study gets read to the end. To do that we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager.

Nothing is stored on your device and no analytics data is sent until you agree. Analytics and advertising storage are set to denied before any Google tag loads, using Google Consent Mode. The banner you see on your first visit is the only thing that changes that. If you choose “No thanks”, the denial stands and we simply do not measure your visit.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage under the key b33-consent so you are not asked on every page. That value never leaves your browser. To withdraw or change consent, clear your browser storage for this site and the banner will ask again.

If you do agree, the events we record are deliberately limited:

• which pages are viewed, and what type of page each one is
• clicks on our calls to action, on outbound links and on email links
• file downloads, such as a case-study PDF
• how far down a page you scrolled

We do not collect your name, email address or any other identifying detail through analytics, and we have not enabled Google Signals or advertising personalisation on this property. Google processes this data on our behalf and may record technical details such as approximate location, device and browser. In our Google Analytics property, event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Google’s own handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Embedded video

One of our news posts embeds a film from YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies unless you press play. Once you play the film, YouTube’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that playback.

If you email us

The only way to contact us from this site is to email us directly. If you do, we receive whatever you choose to send - your name, your email address, and the contents of your message - and we keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and to maintain a record of our dealings with you. Our email is hosted on Google Workspace. We use what you send us to reply to you and nothing else; we do not add you to a marketing list.

Hosting and logs

This site is served from Google Cloud in Australia. As with any web server, requests may be logged by the hosting infrastructure for operational and security purposes, including IP address and browser user agent. Those logs are Google Cloud’s standard operational logs and are not used by us to build a profile of you.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email hello@33bondi.com and a person will answer you.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top of it.
